This is about a remote-controlled robot competition held by TU Delft. The task is to make a robot using some waste materials and 6 motors. This robot must be capable of collecting small balls and using them to build a pyramid.

01

Collection Structure

Due to material limitations, the collection structure uses one stepper motor. Holes are made on the side of the wheel, and cardboard is used to reduce weight. The front drum structure can quickly capture and collect the small balls.

02

Transport Structure

The transport structure uses two stepper motors. After the collection device is filled with small balls, the balls are dumped into the transport area. This design reduces the robot's size and increases collection efficiency.

03

Placement Structure

The placement structure is controlled by one stepper motor. By pouring the small balls into a pyramid-shaped mold, the balls will automatically stack up on each other.
