Social care gives everyone the opportunity to live with dignity and where possible, with as much independence as they can. This can be life-changing for many individuals that would otherwise struggle to carry out daily tasks and care for themselves, and can be a huge confidence booster. 

Health care as we know it today will no longer exist. There will be a fundamental shift from “health care” to “health.” And while disease will never be completely eliminated, through science, data, and technology, we will be able to identify it earlier, intervene proactively, and better understand its progression to help consumers more effectively and actively sustain their well-being. 

By growing concerns about the environmental impact of food production, including issues such as greenhouse gas emissions, water usage, deforestation, and habitat destruction. People are inequities in the food system.

This community may represent an offline social group. The demands of future societal development require increasingly rapid information exchange, but individuals also seek a stable residence. Local food offerings within the community are becoming safer and more environmentally friendly. Simultaneously, we can envision this community as an online tribe.

Technology may indeed be an effective means to improve work efficiency, but using a more scientific approach, we can analyze from three dimensions: cognition, physical well-being, and the environment.

Future Scenario

In 2040, agricultural farmland has significantly decreased as people have adopted more efficient cultivation methods, converting the previously used farmland into forest parks. With the assistance of technology, the work-related stress people experience daily has decreased, allowing them more time and energy to focus on healthier eating and experimenting with different flavors. To enhance the freshness, safety, and equitable distribution of food, every community has its own cultivation site. People can enjoy vegetables and fruits harvested on the same day without leaving their neighborhood, thus reducing significant energy waste and consumption. Using big data, the system can calculate each household's daily food requirements to minimize food waste. Biodegradable and kitchen waste within the community is also efficiently recycled.

City of Pasadena

In the year 2040, Pasadena underwent a major reconfiguration as the number of vehicles on the roads significantly dwindled. People predominantly relied on highly convenient public transportation and bicycles for commuting. Consequently, abandoned parking lots were transformed into Levia vertical farms. Once cold and barren concrete structures, these spaces now flourish with vibrant vegetables and plants. This transformation not only enhanced the city's ecological balance but also significantly improved the quality of life for its residents.

User Journey

Anna lives alone and has a penchant for fresh ingredients, prompting her to visit the supermarket every evening after work. However, sometimes she struggles to accurately gauge the amount of food she needs for the day, leading to food wastage. Anna also places great emphasis on her physical well-being, but the contamination of many foods by pesticides, fertilizers, and genetic modifications causes her significant anxiety. All these concerns dissipated when she started using Levia. The entire cultivation process of Levia involves zero usage of chemicals and boasts an inventory of non-genetically modified seeds.
